Gypsum Board Range
EL-KHAYYAT offers a complete range of gypsum boards engineered for specific performance requirements — from general-purpose lining to moisture, fire, impact and mould resistance. Each board type is built on a reinforced gypsum core and tested to deliver reliable performance across residential, commercial and industrial applications.
1- Regular
EL-KHAYYAT Regular Gypsum Board is a plasterboard used for lining interior ceilings, partitions and wall linings providing signific properties of durability, stability, fi re and acoustic performances. composed of a standard gypsum core encased in high strength, quality liner papers.
2- Moisture Resistant
EL-KHAYYAT Moisture Resistant Gypsum Board plasterboard has all the qualities of Standard Core plasterboard plus the addition of being moisture resistance. This makes EL-KHAYYAT MR board an ideal choice as a moisture resistant substrate for use in wet areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, behind sinks and basins and in shower cubicles. Also designed as a substrate for ceramic tiles.
3- Fire Rated Moisture Resistant
EL-KHAYYAT Moisture Resistant & Fire Rated Gypsum Plasterboard have the inherent properties of Fire Rated plasterboards and accrued Moisture Resistant plasterboards. This property is due to specific additives such as water repellents agents in the non-combustible, mechanically stable, and fire retarding gypsum core. This thus provides two combined advantages in a single board. The core of the board is encased in heavy duty Kraft paper liner on either side.
4- Fire Rated
El-Khayyat Fire-Rated Gypsum Board offers every quality of our Standard Core plasterboard, with one addition: a specially formulated core that gives the board greater strength and markedly better behaviour in fire. It is the natural choice for any plasterboard system that must deliver a high level of fire resistance.
5- IMPACT
EL-KHAYYAT IMPACT boards combine a densified, reinforced core with an increased board thickness. They are specified for partitions and wall linings whose surfaces must withstand knocks, trolley traffic and everyday mechanical abuse.
6- IMPACT Mold and Moisture Resistance
EL-KHAYYAT IMPACT Mold and Moisture Resistant boards pair the reinforced impact core with water-repellent additives and mould-inhibiting facings on both sides. They are intended for internal walls and partitions that must resist impact and breaking loads while also coping with humidity, and they contribute to the fire and acoustic performance of the tested assembly in which they are installed.
7- Glass Mat
EL-KHAYYAT Glass Mat boards replace paper facings with a non-woven fibreglass mat bonded to a water-resistant gypsum core. With no paper to act as a food source, they resist mould growth and tolerate wetting, which makes them suitable for wet areas and for sheathing behind external cladding systems.
